The Kristin Linklater Voice Centre (KLVC) is currently being constructed on a remote hilltop in Orkney and will be the first private, residential voice training campus in the UK.
From early 2014 this unique facility will offer a comprehensive prospectus of intensive, retreat-style voice production workshops to an established global client base of drama students and professionals.
KLVC will invest trading surplus into providing benefits to the local and national drama communities, as well as look to establish a global outreach scheme of scholarship training.
KLVC is also dedicated to increased access to the Linklater Voice method for Scottish performers and drama students.

Despite the difficult economic climate, 69% of the funding for this inspirational project has already been provided by socially minded investors and Kristin personally. If a further 11% can be secured through philanthropic support and crowd funding then KLVC will seek fund-matching from Creative Scotland to make up the final 20% needed.
